Here's Nick Weldon's video "Bass Beginnings"

is one of the most skilled and experienced players and jazz teachers working in the UK. He is currently a professor of jazz piano and improvisation at Trinity College of Music and a professor of jazz piano and jazz double bass at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
He is a member of the Northampton Symphony Orchestra, and also plays regularly with I Maestri and The Rehearsal Orchestra.
He runs workshops for all levels at his Shoefactory studio in Rushden, Northamptonshire, and also teaches individual students.
Although specialising in piano and double bass, Nick is able to advise and prepare all instrumentalists and singers for their College Auditions.
