MUSICIANS AND TEACHERS

Andra Sparks, singer and teacher, already has two fine albums to her name, and is planning two more, one with her quintet, and one with her new trio. At last, her fans exclaim!

Tim Richards the London pianist, composer and teacher, also has his own piano theory books out on the market. Very good, particularly on the under-rated Harmonic Minor Scale!

Nick Weldon is available for gigs on piano and double bass, and for different kinds of teaching, both at the Shoefactory Studio and at your own venue, be it college, prison or rehearsal room. So please feel free to contact him by email with your teaching or playing propositions!

Paul Abrahams is an excellent player and teacher. Check out his site and podcast for a great practical introduction to jazz piano!

Andrea Vicari is one of the best jazz players and teachers in the UK. Also directs the Dordogne Jazz Summer School.

Clark Tracey is not only a wonderful drummer, but a very good teacher and quite passionate about the drums!

Les Chisnall is a teacher of piano and theory whom I warmly recommend. He is based in the North-West, and teaches mostly at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, as well as at Leeds College of Music.
